• Administration of PHP-Register

  • Administration of the application, such as creating product items, is all performed via a set of password protected web pages.

    The following sections describe the main features of each page.

  • Create and Edit a Form

    This page is used to define the forms. You can define as many forms as you wish and you identify them using the Form ID number.

    • Form name:

      Enter in an appropriate name for the form

    • Page URL:

      This is the full http URL of the web page that this form will go to after the form has been successfully filed in.

    • Make public

      Identifies if this form should be visible.

  • Edit the Form fields

    The form fields page is where you define the individual fields.

    The fields that you can enter will change depending on the field type that you have chosen. So a field type of DROPDOWN will display an entry to allow you to created the drop down list.

    • Field Name:

      Enter in an appropriate name for the field

    • Input Field Type:

      Select the field type from the dowpdown list

    • The Width of the Field:

      Defines the width of the element in characters

    • The Height of the field:

      Defines the height in rows for TEXTAREA element

    • Whether this Field is active:

      Defines if the field is to be displayed on the output display

    • Field Sort order:

      Sets the order in the output display - 0 is highest order

    • Whether this Field must be completed by the user: Also enter in a message which is displayed if the field is not completed.

    • Error Message to be displayed if not completed

    • Regular expression validation for this Field

      Examples of regular expressions that can be used are included on the admin page.

    • Error Message to be displayed if regular expression validation fails

  • Administrator password

    Change your admin user password and username.

    You may want to add in user names and passwords directly into the database if you have the ability to do that.

    However, remember that the password is stored in MD5 encrypted format within the database.

    Passwords must only have characters a - z and 0 - 9 and must not be greater than 10 characters.

    Usernames are restricted to a-z, 0-9, @ and full stop characters.
