The idea is to find out what type of products you are selling from your web site so that we can get an idea of trends and you can see what kind of things you may like to sell.

The results show that many sellers are still selling mp3 audio files.

ebooks have become more popular which may be an indication of the popularity of devices like the iPad and Kindle.  It seems to have been easier to create ebooks now and that seems to have encoraged more people to create their own.

Selling video from web sites is also very strong, however I would assume that videos are much larger file sizes and hence people are not selling them in the same way as the smaller audio files.  Tehcnically it is probably more difficult to sell large bandwidth videos than smaller mp3 files.

Many people are selling physical items such as CDs and DVDs with their digital items which shows that those are still popular.
Personally, I find digital goods much easier to work with than physical goods because with digital products you do have any stock or postage to worry about.  All you need is a good mechanisim to sell the digital items.
