PHP-SecureArea is used to protect folders of a web page, controlled by PayPal subscriptions.
When a purchaser pays for a subscription and the payment is completed, they are automatically allocated to the secure area, sent a password by email which allows them to log into the secure area.
If the subscription period should end, or if the customer should cancel their subscription, PayPal will send an IPN which will cause the user to be removed from the secure area so that they cannot log in.
It is possible to create many different types of subscriptions, those that are recurring and those that are of a fixed length of time.
The application is installed onto your web site and there are no on-going costs.
The application includes facilities to send emails to all customers, or to specific customers that have purchased a particular digital file.
All transactions are stored in the database and are displayed on a graph and in a sales to-date page.
